MEET INFORMATION - - -SITE: PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY - PLASTER CENTER has a six lane 300m mondo track with an eight lane straight away. It is located in Pittsburg, KS.SPIKES: Only 1/4’’ pyramid spikes or shorter will be allowed if spikes are worn. Spikes will be checked and the spike rule will be enforced.SHOT PUT AND WEIGHT THROW IMPLEMENTS: All shot put and weight throw implements used in competition will be either pooled from the competitors or provided by meet management.POLE VAULTER WEIGHT VERIFICATION FORM: The following form must be printed and presented to the Pole Vault judge prior to competition. Students shall not complete without completing this form.- - - To print this required form click HERE.ENTRY FEE: $20.00 per athlete for the meet (not per event). There is also a $20.00 entry fee to enter the multi-events. The multi-events will be on Friday, February 16, 2018 - starting at noon. All members of relay teams, including alternates, who have not entered an individual event, must pay a $20.00 entry fee. ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID ONLINE. ALL FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be done online at www.endurousa.com before 10:00pm, Monday, February 12, 2018. - - - ONLINE ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AT THAT TIME! - - - NO EXCEPTIONS.Please read the information on the following pages within the event website (YESINDOOR.COM) for important regisration details: (1) “YES-Memberships”; and (2) “Online Meet Registration”.YES-Athletics Membership: All entrants must be prepared to verify their YES-Athletics membership at any point during the meet. Athletes that competed in the 2017 CCCNYC meet in West Chester, OH should already have their membership, which must be verified according to YES-Athletics procedures.DIRECTIONS TO PITT STATE PLASTER CENTER: Take either S. Rouse Avenue or E. Ford Avenue and enter the parking lot of the Kansas Technology Center at PSU. Go to the NW corner of that parking lot. There you will find a road that goes toward the Plaster Center. Take that road to the first road on the left and it will take you right to front of the Plaster Center. Parking in front of the Plaster Center is limited to officials and handicapped from Friday evening through Sunday. Equipment, bus and van passengers will be able to be dropped off at the west end of the Weede PE building. You will be able to walk straight east through the Weede building to the Plaster Center. There’s plenty of close parking.MEET SCHEDULE: The tentative schedule is attached. It is a rolling schedule. The mile & 3200m races and race walks may have some groups combined. Competitors in some multi-events groups may be combined. We expect the 9-12TH grade girls’ pentathlon to be combined and the 9-12TH grade boys’ pentathlon to be combined. The 5-8TH grade girls’ pentathlon could be combined as well as the 5-8TH grade boys’ pentathlon. Awards will be based on your particular grade division.PROTEST POLICY: A protest written on a provided form must be filed within 30 minutes of the alleged incident or after the results have been posted. The protest must be submitted to the Meet Director. Filing fee is $100.00. The fee will be forfeited if the protest is not upheld. Judgment calls may not be protested!WARM-UP AREA: Athletes may warm-up outside or on the infield in the designated warm-up area.AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top eight in each event.SPECTATORS: FRIDAY - FREE; SATURDAY & SUNDAY - $5 per day. Ages 6 & Under are free. Coaches with five or more athletes will be given passes in the following manner; 5 athletes - 1 pass, 10 athletes - 2 passes; 15 athletes - 3 passes and 20 or more athletes - 4 passes.CONCESSIONS: A concession area will be available at the meet.T-SHIRTS: YES-Athletics National Youth IndoorChampionshipst-shirts will be on sale.PACKET PICKUP: The Host Hotel will be the Lamplighter Inn and Suites located at 4020 Parkview Drive in Pittsburg, KS. Packet pickup for the meet will be available there Friday from 3pm until 9pm. Multi-events packet pickup will be at the Pitt State Plaster Center starting at 10am Friday. Packet pickup will start at 7am at the Pittsburg State University Plaster Center on both Saturday and Sunday.COMPETITOR BIB NUMBERS: Competitor bib numbers will be issued at athlete check-in. All athletes will be required to wear their bib numbers on the front of their competition singlet at all times during competition and in order to gain entrance to the meet. There is a $10.00 replacement fee for lost bib numbers. Replacement bibs may be purchased at the clerking area.FALSE START POLICY: Each competitor will be allowed one false start in grades 3-6. There will be no false starts allowed for competitors in grades 7-12. All competitors in the multi-events will be allowed one false start per race.COMPETITION POLICY: ABSOLUTELY NO SPECTATORS/PARENTS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE TRACK OR INFIELD. ONLY ATHLETES ARE ALLOWED ON THE INFIELD WARM-UP AREA. NO COMPETITION VIDEO OR PHOTOS MAY BE SHOWN TO ATHLETES DURING COMPETITION.
